One of the more popular -arrive in Shanghai early and enjoy all its sites, sounds and of course neon!After Shanghai the bus leaves for the Garden City of Suzhou to explore its UNESCO listed sites. On the way we'll detour to the ancient canal village of Tongli, which if taken as day trip from Shanghai would add at least $75 to your travels! Once in Suzhou you'll see why it's famous for its design and beauty. A little known fact is that Suzhou has one of the best "Bar Streets" in China, which includes great local restaurants as well.
Continuing east we travel to another ancient & beautiful town, Yangzhou. Off the "tourist trail", but with some great places of interest such as Da Ming temple, its equally famous rice dishes and also being famous for being the best place to have a foot massage in China! Waking the following day we continue to the former capital of Nanjing. Nanjing has numerous modern and historic sites, including a 600 year old city wall. Amazing sites such as Purple Mountain, the Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum, the Palace of Heavenly Kingdom await just to name a few. You're also spoilt for choice at night in this city and one area not to miss is the bar area called 1912.

Day 1 - Shanghai
Shanghai - the commercial hub of China and what a great place to start! This sector allows you to experience Shanghai in the days prior before joining us. Shanghai with her amazing nightlife is a city with the best blend of Eastern & Western cultures, surely to amaze you. Before leaving with us you should consider World Expo or the worlds highest observation deck in the Shanghai Financial Tower 474m above the street. The shopping pedestrian mall of Nanjing Lu for some incredible shopping or a walk along the Bund are other options!
Day 2 - Shanghai to Suzhou
Leaving Shanghai in the morning we'll explore the ancient canal towns and the overnight in Suzhou. The Venice like canals of this stop transport you back to years gone by. After this its back to Suzhou via a working Silk factory, where this old age craft will be demonstrated. Once in Suzhou continue exploring one or all of the several UNESCO listed World Heritage sites in Suzhou. Perhaps of equal importance is it's "Bar & restaurant Street", one of the best in China, called Shi Qian Jie Lu where many a great dinner hsa been had.
Day 3 - Yangzhou
Setting off after breakfast another ancient & beautiful town in Yangzhou, one that is also off the "tourist" trial. Yangzhou boats sites such as Slender Western Lake & Da Ming temple which is a Ming Dynasty tomb surrounded by some of the most beautiful Gardens and canals you will witness. Yangzhou also boats a worldwide famous rice dish, and has long been considered the best place in China to indulge in a foot massage, which of course we've found one where the groups normally head to after dinner.
Day 4 - Nanjing
Leaving Yangzhou after lunch we'll arrive in the once Capital of the Republic of China, Nanjing. A powerful & modern City with numerous modern and historic sites, including a 600 year old city wall and many excellent museums. You have plenty to do in this City, so you should stay longer this Sector gives you. Hiring a boat on the lovely and centrally located Xuanwu Lake and paddle your cares away, explore Purple Mountain with the Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum. If you decide to stay one option is taking part in a "Real Chinese Food" cooking course, undertaken at a professional teaching school (180 RMB). The course will show you how to make various Chinese dishes including handmade noodles and Ma Po Tufu, which you eat at the end! Lastly you're spoiled for choice at night in Nanjing, including the Bar area called 1912, which is a great place to drink and dance the night away, any night of the week!
Day 5 - Nanjing
This morning means that your Dragon Bus sector is over. However, get out and explore this majestic former Imperial City. . The many sites in Nanjing are waiting and can be easily explored. We would recommend at least 3 full days in Nanjing to really experience its sites, sounds and attractions.
