Greater outline:
Days 1 - Xian
Plan to spend a few extra days in Xian to ensure that you get the best out of the Ancient City. You could consider at least a further 2 days in Xian before joining us. If you wish to book extra nights in the same hostel, let us know as that can be organised. Many clients arrive under their own terms, but one popular way is via the overnight train from Beijing or Shanghai (we can pre purchase your tickets as well). The first day is yours to explore the city before joining your Tour Leader in the hostel and then heading out for dinner and a tour overview.
Day 2 - The Terracotta Warriors of Xian
The second day the group joins the guide and heads to the site of the Terracotta Warriors, which you complete at your own pace! Xian is an amazing City, with twists and turns around every corner. Exploring this cultural icon of China could surely be a highlight. Xián is a virtual melting pot of old and new, in terms of its building and also previous and current culture. The local food street in the Muslim quarter is where the group often heads to for a great meal, beers and many laughs, and of course just a great place to watch Xian and its people.
Day 3 - Xian and the Luoyang Grottos
You should hit the streets early on the 3rd day and get a real idea and experience of the city. You shouldn't miss the City wall, Bell and Drum Towers and the city's old quarter including the Great Mosque. Xi'an also has one of the best food streets in China. A City to remember, with nightlife and night shows to match. We'll leave Xian later in the afternoon for Luoyang, where we will be staying overnight, so you can rise early and explore another UNESCO site, if you choose to.
.

There are also several Temples and sites in Zhengzhou that can easily be explored by yourself on foot. Zhengzhou is also a good City to relax and catch up on emails or your trip blog or if you explored one of the cities bars the night before, perhaps sleep in. The hotel we use in this City is centrally located and has free internet in your room. We offer optional Day Tours as well including trips to the Yellow River and its attraction, so speak with your Tour Leader for information and prices. Leaving Zhengzhou is up to yourself, but if you need help with train / flight ticktes make sure you speak with your Tour Leader
