Greater outline:
Day 1 - Qingdao, join early & explore Laoshan

Arriving earlier then the start of the sector will allow you to experience this magical Seaside City much better. Extra nights at the hostel can be simply booked through our site, prior to arrival.  Tonight is a good chance for you to get to know your fellow travellers and many head out to the famous Qingdao "beer" street, where beer can be bought, and consumed, in shopping bags!  Note: This night can often end up in karaoke!
Day 2 - Qingdao to Qufu

In the morning the group will board a direct intercity coach, head south while hugging the coastline, before heading inland to the hometown of Confucius, Qufu. On arrival, we transfer to the hostel, where after check in you should get out and explore one of the many old (nearby) gardens or find one of the many great local restaurants. Perhaps jump aboard one of the many 3 wheel rickshaws for the journey around town, which for less then 1 USD a great option!  Qufu has a good supermarket to stock up on those supplies before rejoining the group for dinner at an outdoor Chinese BBQ style restaurants, complete with 8 RMB ($1) jugs of beer. The Hostel can be a place to also kick back, play Wii or read a book as you won't find any bars or cafes in Qufu.

Day 3 - Qufu, Home of the Great Confucius

Wake early as Qufu is a classical Chinese city, perhaps more like the "Real China" you expected. No gleaming skyscrapers, but plenty of  local restaurants.  Explore the City starting with the Confucius family mansion, Temple and Forest where you'll find the tomb of Confucius himself.  Easily explored on foot or for around 10 RMB you can take one of the many people powered 3 wheel bikes that race around the town.   Qufu is a great place to stop and relax; and although you won't find a bar or cafe the hostel is well stocked with plenty of drinks,  DVD's, even a Wii and selection of books.  However, if you're staying you'll have to make sure you extend your Hostel booking past tonight.

Qufu - Where to next ?
So your Dragon Sector is over, best feeling, however finishing in Qufu gives you various options, some stay and extra day and chill out or wait for the next Dragon Bus to come through. However, the choice is yours whether you head back north to Beijing, perhaps west to Zhengzhou (and take the sector to Xián) or head south to Nanjing, where you can spend a few extra days before joining the Nanjing to Shanghai sector
