"It's Your Choice" on how you arrive in Zhengzhou. Arriving in Zhengzhou in the afternoon would mean you enjoy a night out with your fellow travellers. Zhengzhou has its own unique "food street" and several good bars. An often overlooked city, but a highly enjoyable one. The ancient village of the Kungfu Monks, Shaolin awaits you the next day.
Exploring historical Shaolin village and taking part in Kungfu training is a highlight of this Sector. At days end witness a real Kungfu exhibition in a show often nominated as the highlight of the sector. Leaving Shaolin we visit the UNESCO listed Luoyang Grottos before arrival in Xian, the home of the Terracotta Warriors. Two nights in Xian is included, however you cannot miss exploring the site of the buried Terracotta Warriors, which you should book with us now! Xian is a great city to spend at least 4 days, its people watching in the old quarter is great, as are many of the "walking" options.

Day 1 - Zhengzhou
Arrive in Zhengzhou with enough time to visit the free Henan museum, which houses prehistoric artefacts including dinosaur bones. There are several Temples and sites in Zhengzhou that can easily be explored by yourself. Zhengzhou is also a good City to relax and catch up on emails or your trip blog. Tomorrow is a big day, whether you chose to spend the exploring the inner working of the Shaolin Temples, Shaoshan Mountain or even the afternoon with a Kung Fu Master.
Day 2 - Shaolin
An early departure for Shaolin awaits today. Shaolin Kungfu and Shaolin Temples are known the world over and we'll transport you directly to the village. The options are many, and you can simply explore Shaolin itself or enter the village & explore the (working) Temples. Climbing the nearby Shaoshan mountain (40 RMB entry) can give you a birds eye view of the village. The options are yours, however if you enter the Shaolin village (100 RMB) your likely to enjoy a real Kungfu exhibition given by students in training of this ancient martial art. Those interested can also undertake a 4 hr introduction to Kung Fu given by a Master (250RMB). Later that night we head to laoyang, where we stay overnight.
Day 3 - Xian via Luoyang Grottos
We stay in Luoyang overnight which means our travellers have the chance to explore the UNESCO listed Luoyang Grottos. Dragon Bus will transfer you to the site, where you pay the entry fee (120 RMB) and then explore it in your own time & pace. Travellers not exploring this (amazing) site should head out and explore the City on foot. After lunch and we'll head back to Luoyang, pick up our bags and head for our pre booked train for travel to the home to the Terracotta Warriors - Xian. Xian was once the start of the famous Old Silk Road, and was one of China's four great ancient Capitals. On arrival in Xian in the late afternoon and transfer to our Hostel, where after check in one option is the great bar within the Hostel!
Day 4 - Xian
Xi'an is a favourite city of Dragon Bus, its real, there's action and many great sites to see and things to do. Often just hitting the streets and exploring the City wall, Bell and Drum towers and the city's old quarter including the Great Mosque can be a highlight. Xi'an also has one of the best food streets in China along with some great outdoor cafés and bars. A City to remember, and its nightlife is pretty good as well.
Day 5 - Xian
So this day had to come, it's now over, but never forgotten! Today you get the chance to join our Pass Holders for the day trip to the Terracotta Warriors (120 RMB) No trip to Xian is complete without it. Staying longer is easy, and your hostel bed can easily be extended via our own website. After Xi'an you have plenty of choice on which direction you next head. The Train or plane (bookings can be made through our site) are two options.
