"It's Your Choice" on how you arrive in Zhengzhou. Arriving in Zhengzhou in the afternoon would mean you enjoy a night out with your fellow travellers. Zhengzhou has its own unique "food street" and several good bars. An often overlooked city, but a highly enjoyable one. The ancient village of the Kungfu Monks, Shaolin awaits you the next day.
Exploring historical Shaolin village and taking part in Kungfu training is a highlight of this Sector. At days end witness a real Kungfu exhibition in a show often nominated as a highlight of the sector. Leaving Shaolin we visit the UNESCO listed Luoyang Grottos before arrival in Xian, the home of the Terracotta Warriors. Two nights in Xian are included, however you cannot miss exploring the site of the buried Terracotta Warriors, which you should book with us now! Xian is a great city to spend at least 4 days, its people watching in the old quarter is a great, as are many of the "walking" options.

Day 1 - Zhengzhou
Today you can visit the free Henan museum, which houses prehistoric artefacts including dinosaur bones. There are several Temples and sites in Zhengzhou that can easily be explored by yourself on this free day. Zhengzhou is also a good City to relax and catch up on emails or your trip blog. Tomorrow is a big day, whether you chose to spend the exploring the inner working of the Shaolin Temples, Shaoshan Mountain or even the afternoon with a Kung Fu Master.
Day 2 - Shaolin
A early departure for Shaolin for your pre-nominated day is ahead. Shaolin is included in the package, but those wishing can spend either a full or half day at the Kungfu Academy with a Master. However the choice is yours and can include climbing the magical surrounding nearby mountains or exploring the (working) Temples of Shaolin. Those undertaking the Kungfu course enjoy a Buffet dinner in the Kungfu training Academy at the end of the course and as night falls everyone can enjoy a real Kungfu exhibition given by students of this ancient martial Art.
Day 3 - Xian via Laoyang Grottos
Staying in Laoyang overnight means you have the chance to explore the UNESCO listed Laoyang Grottos. Today we offer a day tour that includes transport, entry & guide. Those not joining the tour can explore the City, but remember if you wished see this marvel using public transport would add several extra hours of hassle and around $75 from either Zhengzhou or Xián to your trip! After lunch and we'll head back to Laoyang and then onto the home to the Terracotta Warriors - Xian. The start of the eastern section of the Old Silk Road and one of China's four great ancient Capitals. This sector gives you a day to explore this former ancient Capital, but staying for at least another two (2) is highly recommended!
Day 4 - Xian
Don't rush this City as this is your only full day included in your Sector Pass. Staying at least five (5) nights in Xi'an wouldn't be too long. Tommorrow, Dragon Pass holders will travel to the site where two farmers found the largest buried & hidden Army in the world, now known as the the Terracotta Warriors! Sector Holders can pre book this day tour and simply pay on the day, from the Hostel with everyone else. Spending time touring of the Xian City wall, Bell and Drum towers and the city's old quarter including the Great Mosque are other highlights. Xi'an has one of the best food streets in China and some great outdoor cafés and bars. A City to remember, and its nightlife is pretty good as well!
Day 5 - Xian
So this day had to come, it's now over, but never forgotten! Today you have a choice to join our full Terracotta Warrors day trip for 180 RMB ((25USD), which will depart from Hostel in the morning. Join the Pass holders and experience one of the most amazing sites you'll see. No travel to Xian should miss this.
