Great Cities, Great Sites & Amazing history 
Arrive early into Xián, but remember your Sector includes a day exploring the Terracotta Warriors. On your first night join the group for a night of dinner & drinks in the old quarter food street, with its amazing outdoor eating street.    

The next day you will leave Xian for the UNESCO listed Luoyang Grottos, where we spend the night. Rise early and explore the town before joining our optional guided tour of the Grottos. Perhaps just walk the streets of the town before we head to Shaolin, home of the famous Monks. If you wish to, enter into the actual Shaolin village, which offers the chance to experience a REAL Kungfu exhibition or perhaps join your own 4 hr lesson in this ancient martial art. After a very full day we head into Zhengzhou, an often overlooked, but classical Chinese city. Over 5 days you'll explore some of the most beautiful and historic places that China has to offer. A Great Sector, surely one to impress.

Days 1 - Xian
You should plan to spend extra days in Xian to ensure you experience all that this Ancient City has to offer.  Remember, we can book extra nights in the same Hostel, pre departure.  Many clients arrive under your their own terms, but one popular way is via the overnight train from Beijing or Shanghai (we can pre purchase your tickets as well).  The first day is yours to explore the City before joining your Tour Leader in the Hostel and then heading out for dinner and a Tour overview
Day 2 - The Terracotta Warrior of Xián

Today you'll join the guide for the site of the amazing Terracotta Warriors, which you can complete at your own pace!  The site has several pavillions, so take your time as there is no rush.   Heading back into Xian we will continue to find twists and turns around every corner.  Xián is the cultural icon of China, and a highlight of many.   The City is a virtual melting pot of old and new, with its buildings, history and culture.  The local food street in the Muslim quarter is where the group often heads to for a great meal, beers and many laughs, and of course just a great place to watch Xian and its people.

Day 3 - Xian and overnight in Luoyang
Today we'll leave Xián early onward for Luoyang. Leaving behind the Xián's City wall for Luoyang and its UNESCO world heritage listed Buddha stone carvings & Grottos. Tonight you will stay overnight right in the middle of this more relaxed village like city (compared to Xián).  Once at Luoyang we head to the Hostel, where after check in you should explore the streets on foot and try some of the local staples.  The group normally gets together at night and heads to one of the local restaurants for a great and cheap meal!
 
 
Day 4 - Shaolin & overnight in Zhengzhou
Leaving Luoyang in the morning for the a magical day in a village known the world over.  Today allows for various choices.  We'll take the Dragon Bus to the Shaolin Village, where you can explore it or enter the working temple section (100 RMB).  If you have pre-nominated spend a half day with a Master of Kungfu learning the basics of Kungfu.  Maybe hike the nearby Shao Mountain (40 RMB entry) is more your thing. If so you will get a birds eye view of the Village and its' surroundings. As the afternoon turns to evening we'll board the bus and head for Zhengzhou, where a quiet night is one option, as also is hitting its famous "food street" and checking out the local, yet, very good bars.

Day 5 - Zhengzhou
Your last sleep is over and it's time to say goodbye? Zhengzhou is a classical Chinese City and one often looked over, so you could easily spend today with the larger Pass holders and continue to explore the City, its food street and bars. Zhengzhou has some impressive sights and is centrally located with easy transport options to the south, east or north. If you intend on staying make sure you book you advise your Tour Leader, as a new group will start from the Hotel the following days. if you're leaving onwards from Zhengzhou you have many options, one of which would be taking the train to Nanjing (4 hrs) and joining the Nanjing to Shanghai sector!  Why not?
