This small sector is for those wishing to meet up in Qufu and spend a few days in this town or for those just wishing to ride the Dragon Bus to Qingdao! Qufu is the hometown of Confucius, who is very well known, but this town is not. Explore Confucius Temple, the family Mansion and Tomb before departing on the Dragon Bus to the majestic seaside city of Qingdao. Once in Qingdao there are various options including a trip to the sacred Laoshan Mountain, which is the source of the water used exclusively to makes China's most famous beer. Explore the originally German built Qingdao Beer Factory or just hit the beach. You can also head out and experience the famous Beer Street or perhaps just enjoy a BBQ on the roof bar of the hostel.

Day 1 - Qufu
Arrive early and join the others in this great little town. Explore Qufu in the morning and beat the crowds, especially the Korean and Japanese tour groups! The confucius Temple, Family Mansion and Tomb can be enjoyed together (120 RMB for 3) or individually as well. It's a full day and there is plenty to enjoy in this great little City. Freshen up and hit the streets and find many of the great local restaurants yourself or organise the group and have a BBQ in the hostel?
Day 2 - Qufu to Qingdao
An early start for the direct intercity coach transfer to Qingdao. This means crossing the mountains to the sea, where we head north directly for Qingdao, a trip over around 5 hrs, so charge your laptop or Ipod. On arrival we'll transfer to the Hostel, where its roof top bar is a great place to view the City skyline. So while waiting to check in head up there order a beer take in the amazing views. Tonight freshen up, and make sure you're in for dinner at our secret seafood dinner. We can't give you the name, as we can't spoil it as it only allows for small groups! After dinner hit the Beer street. If not joining the secret dinner there are plenty of option your Tour Leader can help you with!
Day 3 - Qingdao
Wake up at your own pace. Perhaps join the group for an day trip to Laoshan Mountain, the origin of the famous Laoshan Water and a scared Buddhist mountain. Water from Laoshan is exclusively used to make China's most famous beer. On return we head to the originally German built Beer factory where the tour ends with a fresh ale (Cost 260 RMB). Perhaps kick back and hit the beach? Explore the old German concession part of Qingdao town. Remember tonight we generally have a BBQ with beers on the roof of the hostel. We're sure that your time will fly buy as you kick back and enjoy this cosmopolitan seaside city. You should pre-book extra nights accommodation as well if planning to stay longer as this Hostel is very popular and with a new Dragon Bus arriving any day, you don't want to have to move!
