TOUR OUTLINE
Joining the Dragon Bus on this Tour you'll see China, both old and new. The Great Wall represents much of China's history, while the Olympic Stadium, or 'Birds Nest' to most of us give a glimpse into where China is heading. Lastly, to soothe those aching feet you'll enjoy a traditional Chinese foot massage before being returned to your hotel.
An early start heading north from the City to the Olympic Green. On arrival explore the park that house both the Olympic Stadium, host of both the Olympic opening and closing ceremonies, or take a quick peak at the iconic & nearby Water Cube swimming centre.
Rejoining the Dragon Bus we continue about 80 Km out of Beijing, where the air is crisp and fresh. On arrival you'll have enough time to fully explore this section of Wall that was built during the Ming Dynasty (AD1368-1627). The section made up part of the Northern Barrier, that protected Beijing from the marauding Mongols and as said is far enough out of Beijing to let you feel and breathe in the country air.
After Hiking, climbing and photographing the Wall, we'll head to one of the oldest restaurants in the area, newly renovated of course. After lunch we head to a major pedestrian mall in central Beijing, followed by a 500 year old Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Pharmacy, where you'll hear an overview of TCM while enjoying that relaxing foot massage.
Departure time - 8am Return time - 6.30pm
