TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Three 6 Nine Travel Group Pty. Limited ('Three 6 Nine'), a limited liability company registered in Australia, is the tour operator for the journeys contained in this Website. Three 6 Nine holds a Travel Agent Licence (NSW 2TA06841) and is also a member of the Australian Travel Compensation Fund (TCF No. 9387) which provides protection for travellers monies.

Three 6 Nine accepts your booking subject to the following conditions
1. Dragon Bus China travel passes are valid for travel in one direction only for the route which the pass relates to. Bookings can be accepted up to 12 months in advance, and are valid only for the specific dates booked.
2. Where the services of another operator (Travel Agent) are used to purchase a pass it is agreed and understood that Dragon Bus China is acting only as an agent for the passenger to arrange such services and accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any default of that operator. We are not liable to provide a service to clients until full payment has be made to us.
3. Dragon Bus China bookings are lodged in our booking system and on commencing travel you will be required to produce ID in the booked name as proof of purchase. Dragon Bus passes are non-refundable and non-transferable, without written exemption from Dragon Bus China.
4. Dragon Bus China coperates with ISIC & YHA, where we accept and offer such cardholders a set discount.  The discount is set at the international rate (5%).  The use of the card to secure a discount is valid only at the time of booking. We reserve the right to inspect any card used to secure such a discount and failure to produce the card used to secure the discount may result in any discount being voided.  We reserve the right refuse to carry a passenger who using a ISIC/YHA card obtained a discount but failures to produce that exact card. Any discount is calculated after any promotional discount and is valid on the travel section only.  
5. Cancellations must be made by emailing bookings@dragonbuschina.com with your booking reference number. Refunds will be based on the date of receipt of notification and processed within 28 days. The following cancellation fees will apply:
Less than 120 Days from date of departure = USD $100
Less than 60 Days from date of departure =  USD $250
Less than 14 days from date of departure =   USD $400
Refunds will be processed back to a nominated Bank account. Bookings made through Travel Agents are subject to the Terms and conditions of that Travel Agent,  who may charge additional fees.  

6. Dragon Bus China reserve the right to offer booked clients an alternative Pass and/or services of a commeasurate value if bookings on that selected Pass have three (3) or less confirmed bookings. The right to accept this lays with the booked passenger. If unacceptable Dragon Bus retains the right to cancel that Pass and afford the passenger a full refund of that booking. If a booked passenger agress to a new Pass that requires transfer to an alternate starting point Dragon Bus China can arrange for travel to the new starting destination, if the new Pass is of the same or lower value.  Any transfer will be undertaken using a second class train ticket to the new destination.     


7.
  "No Shows" for booked and confirmed departures will void any purchased Pass.  A booked Pass can be re-issued within 7 days of your original departure date if contact is made with us and a local payment of 500 RMB or 80 USD is made with the Tour Leader (subject to availibility).  This will allow you to undertake the booked Pass or to reserve another date. Payment is only accepted on the ground in China

Travel reservations for sector travel are required to be made at least 7 days before departure in order to secure a seat. Changes of (to opt out) can be made by at least 7 days prior to departure by contacting our reservations department @ bookings@dragonbuschina.com

Dragon Bus China will always endeavour to adhere to our stated departure, arrival times and schedules.  However, if due to forces beyond our control, such as Tour Leader sickness, weather conditions, Government closure of areas, local festivals or social unrest, we cannot undertake a stated departure, arrival or schedule we will not be liable for failure to meet the stated times or schedules. If, in the extreme, this results in the cancellations of selected travel areas we will not be liable for refunds.
10. Dragon Bus China shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of, whether directly or indirectly, an abandonment of, delay in departure or during any trip however caused. Dragon Bus China have preferred agreements with accommodation providers, however we reserve the right to change this choice of accommodation should the need arise.
11. Dragon Bus China reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger, luggage or goods without giving any reason before, during or after travel.
12. Dragon Bus China will not be held liable for the sickness, injury or death to any passengers, loss of or damage of any personal effects, whether caused by Dragon Bus China negligence or otherwise. The purchaser of this ticket and passenger jointly and severally agree to indemnify Dragon Bus China against liability to any person on whose behalf the ticket was purchased.
13. All Dragon Bus clients must have a valid travel insurance policy whilst travelling with Dragon Bus. All travellers will be required to show proof of this insurance prior to starting their travels and provide details to the Dragon Bus Trip Leader, including details of the insurance company and contacts in case of emergency. Anyone not holding this documentation could be denied travel with Dragon Bus. No exceptions will be granted.
14. Any Dragon Bus client over the age of 60 may be required to submit a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner prior to being allowed to travel.
15. All Dragon Bus clients will be required to sign a waiver prior to commecing travel with us. This will be provided to you by email and also by your Tour Leader on the first day of your trip. Anyone not signing the waiver will not be allowed to travel.

Disclaimer - Dragon Pass Itineraries / Schedules.

The itinerary contained herein (website) is correct at the time of being published.  However, please take note that itineraries are amended to incorporate improvements, natural forces and National, Provincial, City and local events. We try to electronically update our website and brochures as often as possible.  However, it is possible that it has not been practical or even possible to make last minute or unexpected changes made public via email, newsletter, brochure or the website. 

Therefore some products could vary slightly to that presented in the website, trip notes or brochures. Sometimes changes need to be made even while a Pass / Sector is in motion.  However, we will endeavor to advise clients of any changes prior to the commencement of their travel or if in motion for your Tour Leader to fully explain any changes.  If these changes affect your onward plans, we'll take this into consideration and work with you to accommodate your needs.
